The challenge
A digital marketplace that accepts uploads must not become a malware vector. Upload scanning is not a serverless-friendly task, it needs an always-on service tier, so security had to be engineered into the architecture, not bolted on.
Our approach
A React and TypeScript front end on Netlify Functions with Neon, plus a dedicated always-on ClamAV virus-scanning wrapper service that inspects every upload before it reaches the marketplace.
