The challenge

Attendees needed to buy tickets the way Kenya actually pays, by mobile money, while organizers managed listings and sales. Mobile-money payments must be correct: idempotent callbacks, exact amounts, reliable reconciliation.

Our approach

A React 19 front end on Netlify Functions with Neon (Drizzle) handles event listings and sales. M-Pesa via Daraja powers ticket purchase with idempotent callbacks, wrapped in a liquid design system.

Outcome

Tukutane is mobile-money fintech done right on a modern, maintainable stack, a second proof point for the payments capability line alongside Kipaji.
